郵政法案否決

郵政法案否決されましたね。そして、9/11に総選挙。

テレビ報道で得たことを自分なりにまとめると、今回の総選挙は「国民は郵政民営化をどう考えているのか」を問うているものでしょう。衆院で可決、参院で否決された場合には二つの選択肢があります。両院協議会で話し合うか衆院に戻して審議するか。後者の場合には2/3の賛成が必要なはずです。今回の場合にはどっちとも厳しいでしょうから、解散。ほんとは参院を解散させたいところでしょうが、参院には解散はないので衆院を解散。

私は郵政民営化に賛成です。

一番解体して欲しいのは郵便貯金と簡易保険。この二つは国がやる必要はないでしょう。すでにある民間の会社で充分だと思います。解体することによって今まで郵便貯金と簡易保険に流れていた資金が民間に回るでしょうから、いいと思うのですが。特に郵便貯金に関しては、
国の補償があるから預金→集めたお金で国債購入→安定的な国債の買い手がいるから、政府は赤字国債を発行。
という悪循環があるので、これをどうにかして食い止めて欲しい。今の借金を誰が返すと思っているでしょうか政治家は。彼らが返してくれるなら何も言いません。これ以上の赤字国債を発行させないためにも是非ともやってもらいたい。

郵便事業については国営のままでもありかなーと思ってます。赤字になられると困りますがね。いまさら民営化してもドイツのドイチェットポストのようには、もはやなれないでしょうから。民営化するならば、例外なく開放するべきだと思っています。

で、なぜか一番問題だとされているのが窓口業務。民営化=地方の郵便局がなくなる?そんなのは単なる想像の一つに過ぎないでしょう。現状の考えをそのまま使っていたら潰れるでしょうね。きっと。でも民営化されたらされたで、色々なアイデアが出てきて生き残れると思いますよ、全部が全部とは言いませんが。素人考えですが、地元の商店をやっている方に委託して商店兼郵便局の窓口。銀行のATM置いたり、窓口業務を請け負ったり。保険の代理店を兼ねたり、福祉事業の拠点を兼ねたりとか。どうにでもなるでしょう。郵便貯金と簡易保険と同じで国営でなければいけない理由が見いだせません。

長々と書いてきましたが、つまるところ政治家にとって一番嫌なのが、支持基盤が失われる可能性があるってことなんでしょう。これしか考えられません。ほんと族議員には困ったものですよ。
